Chef Mia Singthin has always loved the culinary arts. She inherited her cooking talent from her family, especially from her father who had already succeeded in the restaurant business. Even though Chef Mia initially wants to be a singer, she quickly decided that she had to pursue what she was naturally gifted at. She knew the work would be hard, but she felt she had to do it. Chef Mia worked very hard to start her business in the United State of America. Right before
In September 2003, she had an opportunity to work in a Thai Restaurant in Washington DC. She started as Kitchen Porter preparing food and making Appetizers. The restaurant owner saw her cooking talents, and quickly after a few years, she got promoted to Sous-Chef in one of the most famous Thai Restaurants in Washington DC. In 2017, she decided to move to Dallas to open her own Thai Restaurant on the Northeast side of Downtown Dallas, known as Sakhuu Thai
Restaurant, Dallas location. While her restaurant is doing well, in 2019, she decided to open her second restaurant location in Richardson with a new business model, classy cheeky Thai and Laos styles. Mia continues to expand her business, she pursues her dream on an up-scale. Thai Restaurant in her third restaurant location in Legacy North, Plano.
